Nurse navigation for cancer patients
Aventura Hospital & Medical Center works together with Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare, to provide experienced, compassionate nurse navigators to support patients as they go through the many stages of living with cancer. A nurse navigator serves as a patient's medical system advocate and helps patients and their families understand each part of the cancer journey.
