Dianne Goldenberg has been named Chief Executive Officer at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center, a 407-bed acute care facility in Aventura, Fla. effective November 19.
Ms. Goldenberg is currently the CEO at Northwest Medical Center, a position she has held for four and a half years. She has more than thirty years of executive leadership and experience at many of South Florida’s renowned healthcare facilities. Prior to serving as CEO at Northwest Medical Center, she held several key leadership positions such as CEO at Northridge Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; COO at Boca Community Hospital in Boca Raton, Fla.; and CNO at JFK Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla.
As CEO of Aventura Hospital and Medical Center, Ms. Goldenberg will lead a team of more than 700 physicians, 1,200 employees and more than 250 volunteers towards fulfilling its mission of providing excellence in healthcare for the community. She will oversee all aspects of administrative operations while supporting a solid foundation of core inpatient and outpatient services and spearheading the launch of new services.
Ms. Goldenberg holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Barry University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Texas Women’s University in Texas.
She is replacing Heather J. Rohan, FACHE, who recently announced her promotion to serve as CEO at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
